Job Overview
Labor and Delivery Nurse (OB) – Richlands, Virginia. Registered Nurse needed to support Labor and Delivery and Nursery care. Provide nursing care for obstetric patients and support nursery coverage, floating to Nursery and Post‑Partum as required.

Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12 hours, nights
Hours per week: minimum 36 hours (36 hrs scheduled, 12‑hour nights).
Employment Type:
Travel
- Provide nursing care for obstetric patients on Labor and Delivery unit.
- Float and provide coverage to Nursery and Post‑Partum units as needed.
- Support low‑volume unit (less than 15 deliveries per month) and weekend coverage (7p‑7a).
- Registered Nurse licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
- Intermediate fetal monitoring or above.
- STABLE certification for nursery.
- Minimum experience 1 year to 18 months in Labor and Delivery.
- General OB Labor and Delivery (L&D) experience.
- Nursery care experience.
Float to Nursery and Post‑Partum may be required if units close due to census. The OB unit has low volume (less than 15 deliveries per month). Weekend coverage is 7p‑7a.
