Administrative Coordinator (Enterprise Data Strategy and Services)
WorkSafeBC is looking for a 12-month temporary Administrative Coordinator to support the Enterprise Data Strategy and Services department within the Innovation Technology, Analytics, and Property (ITAP) division.
The Administrative Coordinator is the operational cornerstone of the Enterprise Data Strategy & Services (EDSS) department—a collaborative, high‑impact team focused on enabling data‑driven excellence across the organization. Working closely with the Senior Director and management team, the Administrative Coordinator ensures the department runs efficiently, communicates clearly, and stays focused on strategic priorities. This role blends coordination, problem‑solving, and professional communication to support leadership, streamline processes, and foster engagement across the team.

WorkSafeBC offers a hybrid work model that combines working remotely and in our offices based on the operational needs of the position. In this role, you will work three or more days a week in our Richmond office.
As an Administrative Coordinator, you will- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and communications to support leadership focus and reduce administrative friction.
- Manage onboarding logistics, training coordination, and departmental documentation.
- Track and follow up on action items to ensure accountability and timely progress.
- Plan and execute departmental and divisional events, workshops, and engagement activities that strengthen culture and collaboration.
- Prepare polished communications, reports, and presentation materials for internal and external audiences.
- Support budgeting, procurement, and asset management processes in collaboration with Finance, P&C, Procurement, and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and implement small process improvements that simplify work, increase efficiency, and enhance clarity.
- Demonstrated experience providing administrative or coordination support in a complex, fast‑moving environment.
- Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with enterprise systems such as SharePoint and Service Now.
- Sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
- Curiosity and confidence using new technologies—including generative AI tools—to improve workflow efficiency.
- A proactive, collaborative approach to problem‑solving and supporting others.
- Completion of grade 12; post‑secondary education in Business or a quantitative field is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of related work experience in an administrative role supporting senior management and/or director‑level operations.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- We will consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Consent to a Criminal Records Check.
- Confirm you are legally entitled to work in Canada.

Salary: $63,879 – $77,613 annually.
