Your duties will encompass a range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring strict adherence to security protocols and efficient processing of pass applications, including verifying the authenticity and completeness of documentation, maintaining accurate records in a centralized database, and liaising with airport security personnel and relevant authorities to ensure compliance with regulations. You'll provide outstanding customer service support to pass applicants and participate in audits to uphold security standards.
Each shift you will make a difference by maintaining the integrity of the pass issuance process and facilitating the safe and orderly movement of individuals within the airport environment.
Job Description
Administer the RAIC program for pass issuance.
Administer the local Access Control system (CEM) for access permissions and employee database.
Generate various lists (Lost & Stolen list) for post distribution to prevent unauthorized access into the Restricted Area.
Respond to customer inquiries via front counter, phone, and email.
Handle any updates and amendments relating to RAIC or any other application forms used in the Access Control Office.
Administer access privileges and troubleshoot proximity card problems.
Liaise with Transport Canada regarding security clearances, including Transport Canada refusals.
Issue, recover, and audit incoming key requests.
Maintain up-to-date records and databases concerning all Access Control Office activities and programs.
Scan various types of forms for electronic filing.
Manage all online appointment bookings.
Process any financial charges for Failed to Return passes/plates and route to Airport Authority.
Generate company reports for external stakeholders to reconcile the RAICs.
Provide Customer Service to both passengers and employees.
Job Requirements
Organizational skills to assist multiple visitors at one time with various tasks.
Knowledge of basic computer programs and basic typing abilities.
Strong customer service skills.
Attention to detail to submit work or send communications without error.
Adaptability and flexibility to adjust priorities for whatever task is most important at any given time.
Ability to handle sensitive information.
Type 40 words per minute and pass the assessment.
Valid or able to obtain a Transport Canada Security Clearance.
Schedule
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm/8am to 4pm
Salary: $23.35 - $27.90 per hour
