Job Duties
  • Establish company objectives and develop sales, marketing, and business development strategies in support of the company’s wholesale trading and distribution operations.
  • Formulate, approve, and implement policies, programs, and operational procedures related to sales, marketing, customer relations, and market expansion.
  • Allocate and manage human, financial, and operational resources to support organizational goals and business growth.
  • Authorize and oversee sales and marketing activities, promotional campaigns, pricing strategies, and customer development initiatives.
  • Coordinate the work of sales, procurement, logistics, and administrative functions to ensure efficient business operations and supply chain management.
  • Develop strategic plans based on market conditions, sales performance, customer demand, and competitor activities.
  • Establish and maintain business relationships with suppliers, wholesale customers, distribution partners, and other commercial stakeholders in Canada and international markets.
  • Recruit, supervise, and evaluate managerial and professional staff.
  • Represent the company in negotiations, trade discussions, supplier communications, and other official business functions.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, international trade, commerce, or a related field.
  • Over five years of progressive experience in sales, marketing, business development, or wholesale trade management are required.
  • Experience in import/export trading, wholesale distribution, or consumer goods industry is considered an asset.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to coordinate business operations and work with international suppliers and customers.
