About This Opportunity
We’re looking for an Account Manager I to join our Retail Team. The role of the Account Manager I is to develop and execute the strategic sales and marketing plans for his named accounts. In this role you will build relationships and develop programs with the objective to optimize revenue and profitability of our retail prepaid programs.

- Account Subject Matter Expert responsible for business planning and execution
- Conduct category business reviews to discuss the state of the business, industry and channel trends, key business drivers, incremental opportunities
- Use fact‑based selling to build business plans and develop new lines of business within existing clients
- Proactively identify opportunities and call out potential risks or threats to the business
- Work in partnership with other internal departments and accounts to launch new products, develop marketing plans and ensure all project timelines and initiatives are achieved
- Coordinate/communicate plans and activities with others, as appropriate, to ensure a coordinated work effort and “team” approach
- Understand InComm technological roadmap and work closely with the accounts’ key decision makers to roll it out, including Category Managers, Buyers, Field Operations, IT/POS teams, Loss Prevention, Billing & Accounting, Procurement, etc.
- Responsible for managing a portfolio of merchant accounts
- Conduct internal/client facing Quarterly Business Reviews and future planning
- Meet InComm’s company and divisional goals for customer retention and growth
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned
- Experience with in managing retail accounts, background in CPG or prepaid/gift card industry is a bonus
- Proven ability to create and implement strategic plans
- Demonstrated ability to grow account revenue through activities such as product expansion, promotional opportunities or program implementations
Experience analyzing sales reports and identifying trends - Comfortable learning new technology/product lines in a highly innovative environment
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to organize and prioritize heavy workload while meeting deadlines
- Must be driven to identify and exceed customer needs and expectations
- Ability to listen attentively, respond effectively and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Aptitude for thinking and acting on a strategic and tactical level
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software with emphasis on Excel and Power Point
- 3+ years relevant experience
- Superior relationship management skills including ability to engage in strategic conversations with all levels of management
- Some travel required – 10‑15%. Valid driver’s license
- Must reside in Vancouver BC
