About Bowser AI
North America is reindustrializing. There is an enormous amount to build, and not enough people to build it. Construction is the only major industry where productivity has declined: workers spend more time waiting, searching, and coordinating than actually building.
Bowser AI is building the platform that makes every worker on the job site more productive. We capture what's really happening on job sites, validate what works, and scale proven improvements across operations. We're deeply embedded with one of the largest mechanical contractors in the US as our design and development partner, and are backed by E3 Tech (investment firm launched in partnership with a16z).
The Role
We have a fast growing company, deployments at sites across the continent, and you'd be the company's first dedicated operations hire.
This is a hands-on doing role, not a manage-from-above role. You'll work directly with the CEO across the business: getting customer deployments live and successful, and running the internal machinery so he can stay on product and customers. The work spans everything that isn't engineering, and some of it is executive-assistant in nature. If you want a seat where you learn how a venture-backed company actually gets built, this is it.
What You'll Do
- Own the day-to-day of customer deployments: onboarding, scheduling, logistics, and follow-through that keeps pilots on track
- Run internal business operations: coordination, hiring logistics, contracts and vendor admin, marketing, tooling, and data-room and fundraising support
- Act as the CEO's force multiplier: prepare materials, chase down loose ends, and make sure nothing drops
- Turn ambiguous goals into finished work with minimal direction
- Build the lightweight processes a growing startup needs, without over-engineering them
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a high-horsepower generalist:
A demonstrated super-fast learner: you pick up new domains quickly and run with them AND at least one of
- Experience in construction operations, or other field/industrial environments
- Experience in Machine Learning, AI native workflows, or similar
Plus:
- 2–5 years in operations, consulting, chief-of-staff, startup, or executive-assistant-track roles (or equivalent raw ability)
- Sharp, organized, resourceful, and low-ego
- Exceptional follow-through and ownership: things you touch get done
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Comfort with ambiguity and a do-whatever-it-takes attitude
- Be able to travel to the US occasionally
Nice to have:
- Early-stage startup experience
Location
Pacific Time preferred, Eastern Time acceptable. Remote-first, with occasional travel.
Why This Role
- A founder-adjacent seat: you'll work shoulder to shoulder with the CEO and learn how a venture-backed startup gets built from the inside.
- Enormous breadth: customers, finance, hiring, fundraising, and product feedback all cross your desk.
- Real ownership and equity, early.
- AI-native company: you'll use AI tools to do the work of a much larger team.
