Contribute to marine operations as a Senior Contract Advisor with BC Ferries. Focus on establishing a Master Service Agreement framework to enhance vessel maintenance and supplier partnerships across British Columbia.
In this role, you will drive procurement and contract governance for shipyards and service providers while working within the Fleet Project Management Office. Your expertise in contract management and collaboration with multiple stakeholders will help streamline complex marine service contracts for vessel refits and maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead governance activities for Master Service Agreements
• Support teams in developing contract structures and statements of work
• Develop toolkits and resources for consistent contract adoption
• Monitor contract performance and supplier effectiveness
• Facilitate issue resolution and change control processes
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Seven years of contract management experience
• Knowledge of vessel refits and maintenance
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in marine operations and compliance standards
