Sunny Days of California, Inc. seeks dedicated professionals for its team specializing in early intervention for developmental needs from birth to three years. As a Child Development Specialist, you will utilize the Parent Coaching Model to assess and implement individualized strategies in children's natural environments.
Your role will emphasize collaboration with families to ensure developmental goals are met effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct developmental assessments for infants and toddlers
• Implement strategies from Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP)
• Utilize family-centered parent coaching techniques
• Provide services in homes, daycare, and community settings
• Write progress reports and maintain confidentiality
Requirements:
• Master’s degree or special education credential required
• Experience in early intervention preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with home-based service delivery desired
• Commitment to child and family confidentiality
