Position: Experienced Financial Analyst for City Budgets
We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst dedicated to supporting and analyzing financial performance across various operational levels. This role requires effective communication and a thorough understanding of budgeting policies and financial data.

As a Financial Analyst, you will be integral in preparing financial reports, month-end audits, and performance forecasts for the City’s budgets.

Your role will involve educating staff and offering robust analytical insights to senior management, providing a foundation for informed financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare month-end reports and year-end audit documents

• Conduct technical training for staff on budgeting procedures

• Provide detailed budget analysis and forecasts

• Monitor and prepare Utility, Capital, and Operating budgets

• Recommend improvements for financial processes

Requirements:

• Credential in Accounting and relevant experience

• Enrollment in a recognized accounting program

• Four years of financial experience required

• Knowledge of enterprise resource planning systems

• Clearable Police Information Check
