Intermediate Accountant, Manufacturing

At Nature’s Path, our manufacturing finance team plays a critical role in helping the business understand costs, improve performance, and make smarter decisions. This role sits at the intersection of accounting and operations, providing a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a complex manufacturing environment.

We’re looking for an Intermediate Accountant who enjoys solving problems, digging into data, and understanding how financial results connect to real‑world operations. You’ll work closely with finance and operational leaders while building valuable experience in inventory, costing, reporting, and manufacturing finance.

• Support full-cycle accounting activities related to manufacturing operations
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and month-end reporting
• Analyze manufacturing variances, inventory, and cost trends
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to support informed decision‑making
• Assist with inventory accounting, costing, and operational financial analysis
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, process enhancements, and system optimization
• Assist with audits and compliance requirements across Canadian and U.S. operations
• Support ERP and reporting processes, including data validation and analysis

• Post‑secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline
• CPA designation completed or actively pursuing is an asset
• Manufacturing and/or CPG industry experience is required
• Solid understanding of inventory, costing, and manufacturing accounting principles
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools

• Located in:
  Richmond, BC (Hybrid)
• Periodic travel to Blaine Washington + Sussex Wisconsin
• $80,000–$90,000 base salary + 10% bonus
