Job Overview
Location:
Richmond, British Columbia, Canada.
Hours:
37.5 per week. Pay: $60,000 - $70,000 CAD annually, commission eligible.
TD Wealth is a financial planning team focused on guiding mass affluent clients through comprehensive financial planning, relationship building, and business development. The role requires a professional with experience in wealth planning and client relationship management.
Responsibilities- Identify clients' life and financial goals, deliver comprehensive reviews, and build long‑term relationships through financial planning expertise and ongoing services.
- Conduct reporting and relevant analysis to draw conclusions, make recommendations, and continually assess the effectiveness of programs, policies, and practices.
- Contribute to team and department goals while strengthening customer service and dedication.
- Monitor service, productivity, and assess efficiency and implement continuous improvements.
- Remain knowledgeable of best practices and procedures, staying ahead of emerging trends.
- Acquire and apply expertise; provide mentorship, assistance, and direction to others.
- Maintain a culture of risk management and control aligned with risk appetite.
- Participate fully as a team member and support a positive, service-oriented work environment.
- University degree (preferred).
- 3–5 years in financial services managing client relationships, providing financial advice, and delivering tailored investment solutions (preferred).
- CIRO Registered Representative (RR) license within first 120 days.
- Achieve Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation within first 3 years.
- CFP eligibility:
University degree OR 5 years as a QAFP professional in good standing, or up to 10 years of qualifying work experience.
- Passion for financial planning and dedication to helping clients reach financial and life goals.
- Entrepreneurial spirit to prospect external business development opportunities via networking and experience with high‑value sales.
- Deep understanding of industry, competitive landscape, economic market issues, and regulatory environment.
- Excellent people and problem‑solving skills for building and maintaining client relationships.
- Strong communication skills, able to work collaboratively and independently.

Language RequirementsPositions in Quebec require knowledge of French.
