HR Generalist

Position: Full-Time HR Generalist
Become an integral part of Fresh Start Foods as a Full-Time HR Generalist in Richmond, BC. Support diverse HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration.

In collaboration with Senior HR Management, this permanent role requires expertise in human resources across various areas, including onboarding, compliance, and performance management. Candidates should bring at least two years of HR experience, particularly in food manufacturing. You will manage payroll, support training events, and act as a liaison for business needs across the division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with HR Shared Services to meet division needs

• Manage internal job postings and workforce planning

• Coordinate HR training, wellness, and orientation events

• Handle biweekly payroll and new employee onboarding

• Educate management on performance management initiatives

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years HR experience in food manufacturing

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources preferred

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of GFS culture, policies, and regulations

• Familiarity with Google Suite and HR tools
