Lead, coach and develop team capabilities and performance.
Responsibilities Lead development of annual plans for key accounts that state agreed brand and consumer strategies and insure the delivery of business goals
Collaborate with Trade Development to manage and evaluate all promotional spending and performance by account and implement corrective business building actions
Beat the plan and competition through net sales value, growing share and volume
Promote calendar implemented flawlessly across all stores in selected accounts
Ensure approval of new items/innovation brands and SKUs on a timely basis
Proactively participate with Trade Development and Sales Management in strategy briefing sessions while continuously providing feedback on program execution and effectiveness
Support Sales Management and Trade Development in the development of account specific presentations as well as goals for distribution and merchandising promotion execution
Analyze competitive activities and generate insights to create a competitive advantage
Assign and achieve goals by account, ensure accurate sales forecasting activities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customer base
Provide ongoing and current assessments of the results of plans by channel, key account and individual customer
Provide leadership, coaching and development of direct reports
Lead direct reports effectively by clearly communicating roles and responsibilities, expectations and deliverables
Ongoing training and development of direct reports through continued instruction during regularly scheduled in-field accompaniment, market surveys and observance of sales team meetings
Grow distribution of brands into existing accounts, including new products, and new sizes of existing products
Assign goals by individual and assess progress by territory/account for distribution, volume, profit, and sell-through execution
Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience 4‑5 years’ experience in a similar role
Excellent computer skills, including advanced Excel and MS Office
Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal)
Demonstrate sound judgment and problem solving skills
Excellent leadership and sales capabilities with strong presentation and interpersonal skills
Proven track record in coaching, people management and team development
Strong organizational and multi‑tasking capabilities
Strong Project Management skills
Strong competitive intelligence within the marketplace
Capable of seeking out new ideas, exhibiting initiative and being proactive
Managing complex customer relationships
Excellent Negotiation and Persuasive Selling Skills
Knowledge of Cannabis Regulations, market trends and competition is an asset
Relevant cross‑functional experience (finance, operations, IT, HR, project management, etc.)
Physical Demands Frequent hand motion to perform various duties; occasional immediate reaching, minimal overhead reaching to perform various duties; occasional standing and occasional walking for short amounts of time to perform various duties; extended sitting for long periods of time at desk or workstation.
Salary and Benefits Salary: $85,000 - $95,000
