General Manager, Dosing (Bakon & Unifiller)

President, Coperion Food, Health & Nutrition Business

Scope:
Unifiller and Bakon brands globally (~$50M revenue business)

Position Summary

Responsible for global business leadership of Bakon and Unifiller brands with full profit and loss responsibility. Drives sustainable growth, operational excellence, customer satisfaction and overall financial performance across a global food, health and nutrition organization. Leads Sales, Service, Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Supply Chain and other support functions. Balances strategic thinking with operational execution while building strong partnerships across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities Business Leadership & Strategy
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy delivering sustainable revenue growth, profitability and market share expansion.
  • Establish short‑ and long‑term objectives aligned with Coperion priorities, lead annual operating plans and long‑range planning.
  • Identify and evaluate growth opportunities such as new products, market expansion, channel development, acquisitions and partnerships.
  • Drive alignment across functions and geographies to ensure execution of business priorities.
Full P&L Ownership
  • Own all aspects of financial performance including revenue, margins, EBITDA, working capital, cash flow and return on invested capital.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts and operating plans; monitor performance and drive corrective actions.
  • Ensure disciplined capital allocation and investment decisions that support growth and profitability.
  • Champion a culture of accountability, financial transparency and performance management.
Commercial & Customer Leadership
  • Lead global sales, service and commercial teams to achieve growth objectives and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Build and maintain executive‑level relationships with key customers, partners and industry stakeholders.
  • Embed the voice of the customer throughout the organization and drive commercial excellence.
  • Partner with product management and engineering teams on innovation and product roadmaps aligned with market trends.
Operations & Execution
  • Provide leadership for manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, project management and service operations.
  • Drive operational excellence with focus on safety, quality, delivery performance, productivity and cost optimization.
  • Oversee capacity planning, manufacturing strategy and operational footprint decisions.
  • Promote continuous improvement methodologies and manage risk to assure business continuity.
Cross‑Functional Leadership
  • Develop a global management team capable of delivering results in a dynamic environment.
  • Foster collaboration across all functions and build a culture of accountability, transparency and teamwork.
  • Ensure succession planning, talent development and employee engagement across all locations.
Matrix Organization Leadership
  • Partner closely with functional leaders across the organization, balancing local business needs with enterprise priorities.
  • Lead through influence in a matrix environment and support enterprise initiatives and cross‑business growth.
  • Act as a visible and trusted leader within the broader organization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Finance, or a related field.
  • 10+ years progressive leadership experience in industrial equipment, machinery, capital equipment or related industries.
  • Demonstrated success leading a business or major segment with full P&L responsibility.
  • Experience leading sales, operations, engineering and support functions within a complex organization.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of revenue growth, margin management and performance metrics.
  • Experience developing and executing growth strategies in global markets.
  • Customer orientation with a track record of building strategic relationships.
  • Ability to lead and influence within a matrixed, multinational organization.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and change management skills.
  • Preferred: MBA or advanced business degree.
