TradesBC as the Manager for Workforce & Community Training Initiatives. This permanent full-time position focuses on fostering equitable access to training and apprenticeships.

In this role, you will serve as a bridge between training investments and community needs in British Columbia. You will manage the Workforce Readiness Initiative and oversee programs tailored for Indigenous Peoples and equity-deserving groups. Your work will involve close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that training strategies align with workforce priorities and represent diverse community perspectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct operations of workforce training and funding initiatives

• Collaborate on Indigenous and equity programming

• Ensure program delivery translates into successful apprenticeships

• Monitor and report on project performance metrics

• Oversee budget management for funded educational projects

Requirements:

• Expertise in workforce, training, and community development

• Understanding of Indigenous rights and equity representation
