Co-op Student - Marketing

Position: Co-op Student - Marketing - May 2025 (4 or 8 months)
Position Scope

We are seeking a motivated and talented Marketing Co-op Student to join our Marketing and Communications team for a 4 or 8 months term, contributing to exciting and impactful projects at a global level.

As a Marketing Co-op Student, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects aimed at enhancing our brand presence, engaging target audiences, and driving strategic marketing initiatives. This is a project-based role designed to provide hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing, allowing you to apply theoretical knowledge gained in your academic studies to real-world scenarios.



Key Responsibilities

Lead SEO and website optimization for parent and subsidiary brands, providing recommendations, testing and analysis of performance metrics.

Conduct market research projects including competitive intelligence, sustainability initiatives, and sector deep dives in the food manufacturing industry.

Develop creative content for various marketing channels, including social media and email campaigns, aligning with brand guidelines.

Assist in planning and executing ongoing marketing campaigns, including but not limited to tradeshow activities, product innovations, and key industry sectors.

Support the marketing team as assigned.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate program with a focus on Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Native English writing proficiency.

Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and tools.

Creativity and ability to think outside the box.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, website search tools including Google, social media channels such as Linked In, You Tube and Facebook.

Website building experience (Squarespace) and basic understanding of SEO ideal.
