Description
Proactively solicit, negotiate, and secure new business while maintaining and expanding existing accounts
Identify new revenue opportunities and recommend strategies to grow market share
Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly room night and revenue targets
Execute consistent prospecting activities including sales calls, client appointments, and site inspections
Maintain strong visibility in the Richmond and Greater Vancouver market through networking and industry engagement
Represent the hotel at trade shows, FAM tours, entertainment events, and industry functions
Prepare and deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reporting
Collaborate closely with the Sales & Marketing team to drive overall revenue objectives
Utilize Delphi, Opera, and Microsoft Office tools to accurately track production and sales activity
Work cross-functionally with operations teams to ensure seamless execution and guest satisfaction
Adhere to all safety, emergency, and compliance policies
Maintain flexibility to meet business demands, including evenings and weekends as required
Requirements
Previous hotel sales experience required
Prior experience in a Sales Manager role strongly preferred
Knowledge of the Richmond and Greater Vancouver market is considered a strong asset
Strong prospecting, negotiation, and presentation skills
Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding room night and revenue goals
Results-driven, competitive, and self-motivated
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Strong relationship-builder with excellent communication skills
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle preferred
