Description

  • Proactively solicit, negotiate, and secure new business while maintaining and expanding existing accounts

  • Identify new revenue opportunities and recommend strategies to grow market share

  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly room night and revenue targets

  • Execute consistent prospecting activities including sales calls, client appointments, and site inspections

  • Maintain strong visibility in the Richmond and Greater Vancouver market through networking and industry engagement

  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, FAM tours, entertainment events, and industry functions

  • Prepare and deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reporting

  • Collaborate closely with the Sales & Marketing team to drive overall revenue objectives

  • Utilize Delphi, Opera, and Microsoft Office tools to accurately track production and sales activity

  • Work cross-functionally with operations teams to ensure seamless execution and guest satisfaction

  • Adhere to all safety, emergency, and compliance policies

  • Maintain flexibility to meet business demands, including evenings and weekends as required

  • Requirements

  • Previous hotel sales experience required

  • Prior experience in a Sales Manager role strongly preferred

  • Knowledge of the Richmond and Greater Vancouver market is considered a strong asset

  • Strong prospecting, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding room night and revenue goals

  • Results-driven, competitive, and self-motivated

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment

  • Strong relationship-builder with excellent communication skills

  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle preferred
