Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Sales person to join our team. The role requires excellent communication skills, an aggressive approach to new business targeting, and a track record of exceeding established goals for a corporate market segment.

Responsibilities
  • Research, develop, and secure new corporate business for the hotel through direct outside and inside sales efforts.
  • Conduct cold calls and prospecting on potential clients.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows.
  • Prepare proposals and contracts.
  • Complete weekly sales reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of the Sales & Marketing plan.
Requirements
  • Target new business opportunities, specifically within the corporate market segment.
  • Build and maintain existing relationships.
  • Develop and maintain a contact and customer database within the corporate market segment.
  • Promote product image and awareness via direct sales campaigns and attendance at key market events and trade shows.
  • Prepare sales proposals to clients incorporating clearly defined terms and conditions.
  • Establish an effective sales call cycle for key customers, partners and contacts.
  • Maintain a clear line of communication on sales commitments to hotel/chain operations.
  • Achieve agreed goals and objectives.
  • Communicate information and ideas clearly.
  • Work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and handle everyday situations quickly and efficiently.
  • Demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Have a minimum of two years’ hotel sales experience and an excellent network of contacts.
  • Communicate, support, and connect with hotel property leaders and front‑line team members.
Applicable Skills
  • Diploma or degree in hotel/restaurant management is an asset.
  • Commitment to exceeding guest expectations.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other software applications.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to set priorities.
