POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Shipping & Warehouse Manager, this position is required to direct, co-ordinate and process all customer orders through the shipping department to meet the customer and company requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process, direct and log all onsite traffic.
• Scale in all inbound freight for pick up.
• Inspect and seal all US outbound loads.
• Provide data entry services & trouble shoot data discrepancies within the computerized departmental systems.
• Process, co-ordinate and finalize all loads for transportation.
• Provide the required documentation for the transportation of all goods.
• Performing other duties as required.
• Transportation of Dangerous Goods certified.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• High school graduation plus computer software courses.
• Knowledge of transportation laws and shipping procedures.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
