Position: Laboratory Technician in Chemistry Needed
We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician in Chemistry to enhance our Faculty of Science labs. Focus on coordinating, managing, and preparing essential lab resources for students and faculty.

The Laboratory Technician will be part of a dynamic academic environment, working under the Associate Dean's guidance. Your responsibilities will include the care and maintenance of lab equipment while preparing supplies for practical lab sessions based on a predetermined timetable. A

B.Sc. in chemistry is required, and experience in lab environments will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Chemistry lab inventory and equipment

• Set up and remove lab materials each week

• Assist faculty with necessary lab preparations

• Ensure lab operations comply with safety standards

• Utilize computer skills for lab records and procedures

Requirements:

B.Sc. in chemistry or similar qualifications

• Previous related experience is a plus

• Good knowledge of lab safety regulations

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work efficiently with little supervision
