Core Logger Geologist at Geominex

Join Geominex Consultants as a Core Logger-Geologist in British Columbia. This exciting role involves detailed logging, sampling, and monitoring in mineral exploration projects.

The position is a 3-6 month contract that may extend based on operational needs. You will report to the Project Manager or Senior Geologists and take charge of logging diamond drill cores. Key duties include collecting geological data, contributing to projects' geological interpretations, and assisting with drill management efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Log diamond drill core and sample mineralized sections

• Collect lithological, alteration, and structural data

• Monitor drill operations and maintain core processing workflows

• Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders

• Promote and adhere to safety standards throughout exploration activities

Requirements:

•

B.Sc. degree in geology or earth science

• 1-4 years of core logging and drill management experience

• Eligible for GIT registration

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and GIS software

• Valid driver's license and legal work eligibility in Canada
