As a Journeyman Fire Protection Sprinkler Fitter, you will engage in critical tasks including the inspection, testing, and repair of water-based systems. Your experience with various systems and troubleshooting will be invaluable. Collaborate closely with both the tech group and fire service staff to support community safety efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, test, and repair sprinkler systems to fire codes

• Troubleshoot different types of sprinkler mechanisms

• Handle backflow preventer tests and repairs

• Install necessary air compressors

• Lead efforts to enhance teamwork and relationships

Requirements:

• Journeyman BC Sprinkler Ticket required

• BCWWA Certified Cross Connection Control Tester will be an asset

• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills

• Strong collaboration capabilities

• Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively
