Provide professional locksmith services at the Richmond School District, where your skills will enhance security for many educational institutions. This position offers a stable, engaging work environment in the community.

The Richmond School District is in search of a dedicated Locksmith skilled in installation and repair of various locking mechanisms. In this vital role, you will maintain and improve the security of all district facilities while working independently under the supervision of maintenance management. Your contributions will directly impact the safety and services provided to approximately 21,000 students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and modify locks for district schools

• Install and maintain hardware such as hinges and closures

• Prepare service estimates for installations and repairs

• Maintain and audit master key inventories

• Respond to emergency service calls as needed

Requirements:

• Grade 12 and relevant BC locksmith certification

• Minimum of two years in commercial locksmithing

• Detailed knowledge of current locksmith practices

• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence

• Effective organizational and communication skills
