In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Tradesperson while being responsible for all locksmith services across the district’s numerous facilities. Key duties include repairing locks, maintaining accurate inventories, and ensuring safe work conditions. You will also assist in drafting specifications for new installations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Repair and maintain locks and closures in facilities
• Install and modify door hardware for safety
• Audit and control key inventories with precise documentation
• Ensure maintenance of equipment and tools
• Respond promptly to service calls and safety concerns
Requirements:
• Certified Locksmithing qualifications required
• At least two years experience in the locksmith field
• Good organizational skills with minimal supervision
• Ability to handle physical tasks safely
• Valid BC Driver's Licence required
