Position: Skilled Millwright Role

As a Millwright at Tree Island Steel, you will play a critical role in ensuring machinery effectiveness and longevity within our sizable manufacturing facility. Candidates must have a minimum of five years of relevant experience and hold a BC or Inter-Provincial Millwright Trade Qualification. Your expertise will help decrease unexpected breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair various manufacturing machines

• Execute preventative maintenance and inspections

• Rebuild gearboxes and hydraulic systems

• Install and move industrial machinery as needed

• Operate hoisting and lifting devices for machinery

Requirements:

• Valid BC or Inter-Provincial Millwright Trade Qualification

• At least 5 years' experience maintaining industrial equipment

• Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics

• Strong problem-solving skills and communication

• Capability to work independently in fast-paced environments
