As a permanent team member, you will report to the Facilities Equipment Manager while ensuring minimal downtime through effective maintenance of various equipment. Key responsibilities include diagnosing issues, coordinating repairs, and possibly traveling to different compost sites. Flexibility in work hours is essential, including weekend shifts as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair loaders, excavators, and other heavy equipment
• Diagnose electrical and hydraulic issues effectively
• Coordinate equipment downtime for repairs with management
• Operate the service truck on job sites
• Assist in improving the Preventative Maintenance program
Requirements:
• Heavy Equipment Technician License preferred
• Valid G Driver’s License and clean abstract
• Strong organizational skills for independent work
• Basic computer knowledge and communication skills
• Willingness to travel to other sites for repairs
