We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to support our operations while minimizing downtime through effective equipment management. This role includes diagnosing electrical and hydraulic issues, coordinating repairs, and may involve travel between compost sites. Ideal candidates will demonstrate safety awareness and the flexibility to work outdoors during various hours, including weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
• Adhere to safety protocols and relevant legislation
• Maintain and repair heavy equipment on-site
• Diagnose and fix electrical and hydraulic issues
• Coordinate with management for equipment downtime
• Operate the service truck effectively during repairs
Requirements:
• Heavy Equipment Technician License required
• Ability to diagnose electrical/hydraulic issues
• Basic computer skills and communication proficiency
• Valid G Driver's License with a clean record
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
