Audio Visual Installer

Key Responsibilities
  • Properly install all equipment and wiring necessary for the functional operation of audio/video systems sold by the custom audio/video department.
  • Perform advanced installations, equipment fine tuning, and programming of advance audio/video equipment sold by the audio/video team.
  • Ensure the use of proper types of wires that meet audio/video performance specifications and building safety standards.
  • Install audio/video wiring, brackets, and electronics in a manner that does not create safety and legal liability issues with the customer.
  • Complete Connect Wise tickets to ensure the best customer service and smooth corporate operations (daily).
  • Handle pickups and deliveries for the service of custom audio/video equipment for Custom Works.
  • Maintain and track service issues related to customers of the CAVS team.
Qualifications
  • Good interpersonal skills when dealing with customers, staff, and management.
  • Ability to review Bill of Materials, Drawings, and Project Scope to prepare for site activities.
  • Experience in the AVS sector is desired.
  • Proven experience as an AVS installer.
  • Technical college degree or certificate preferred.
  • Basic computer and network knowledge.
  • Experience with Crestron and Extron is a benefit.
  • Strong knowledge of audio/video equipment, wiring, and set-up.
  • Strong knowledge of current electronics and their functions overall.
  • Experience in electrical systems installations and custom AV installations (presentation, conference, digital signage, audio, and more).
  • Proficiency with standard and power tools.
  • Desire to learn new technologies and keep up with industry changes.

Employees will be scheduled 40 hours per week with flexibility to work evenings and weekends to meet project requirements and timelines.
