We’re looking for someone who is local to Richmond, British Columbia, is an experienced, finishing Heavy Equipment Operator, and can operate machinery safely, performing precise grading, site preparation, and excavation work, conduct pre-operation checks, perform maintenance, and use grade plans to deliver accurate results.
What You'll Do- Safely and effectively operate a variety of heavy equipment, with focus on Excavators and Dozers
- Perform thorough pre-operational checks and keep slip tanks topped off to ensure reliable equipment performance.
- Load and move a diverse range of materials such as earth, rock, and demolition debris with accuracy and care.
- Carry out preventative maintenance and daily equipment checks, while keeping work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Support a team-oriented work environment by assisting with general site housekeeping, fueling, and equipment care.
- Safely transport materials from excavation sites to stockpiles, focusing on efficiency and precision.
- Take part in general labour and team support tasks such as digging, sweeping, monitoring, sampling, and spotting for trucks.
- Work in a respectful and inclusive environment where everyone’s contribution is valued and opportunities for growth are encouraged.
- 5+ years’ experience operating Excavators and Dozers.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to persevere through difficult weather conditions, challenging work site environments, and long demanding work days.

- Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be Fit-for-Work each day.
- Must have the ability to stand for extended periods of time.
