Experienced Diesel Mechanic at Ignition Marine

This hands-on position requires a skilled mechanic with at least 3–5 years of experience in marine diesel systems. You’ll work on a range of vessels, ensuring compliance with industry standards while performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.

Your role will revolve around optimizing vessel performance and delivering world-class quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and propulsion systems

• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled services

• Conduct performance testing and sea trials

• Prepare condition reports and maintain service records

• Assist with emergency repairs and vessel haul-outs

Requirements:

• 3–5 years in Diesel Mechanic or Marine Mechanic role

• Proficient in diagnostic software and technical manuals

• Preferred certifications in marine engine technology

• Knowledge of Transport Canada regulations

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varied conditions
