Job Details
- Salary: 31.00 hourly / 40 hours per week
- Terms of employment:
Permanent employment Full time - Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years
Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Physical Requirements- At heights
- Cold/refrigerated
- Hot
- Determine type of glass, frames and material required
- Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
- Measure, mark and cut glass
- Position and secure panes in frame
- Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors or glass products
- Install door, window and other hardware
- Repair glass doors and other glass structures
- Assemble, erect and dismantle scaffolding, rigging and hoisting equipment
- Supervise other workers
- Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
- Type of glass/materials:
Mirrors - Frame fabrication and installation:
Curtain wall (prefabricated material), Aluminum framing members, Entrance ways - Installation specialization:
Skylights and slope glazed installations, Curtain walls, Aluminum storefronts, barrel vaults, solariums, commercial window systems, Walls and other interior areas (i.e. partitions)
- Physically demanding
