Position: City Electrician for Maintenance and Installation
Join the City as an Electrician focusing on essential maintenance and installation tasks. Leverage your expertise to maintain systems and oversee subordinates where needed.

In this role, you will tackle a variety of electrical assignments, employing your judgment and skills for effective execution. Your responsibilities will cover the maintenance of generators, renovation of electrical systems, and completing installations of streetlights and pump stations. Your ability to follow blueprints and schematics is key for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute scheduling for jobs

• Install, maintain, and upgrade streetlights

• Handle maintenance and repairs of generators

• Improve pump station electrical systems

• Execute renovation tasks for electrical infrastructures

Requirements:

• Completion of a recognized electrician apprenticeship

• Minimum of 2 years journeyman-level experience

• Valid B.C. Trade or Inter-provincial Certification

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence in British Columbia

• Able to clear a Police Information Check
