In this pivotal role, you will handle the fabrication, repair, and installation of metal components for pleasure yachts and commercial vessels. Your responsibilities include welding, blueprint interpretation, and ensuring compliance with stringent safety standards. Collaborate with project managers and technicians to guarantee structural integrity and quality craftsmanship on all projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform precision MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various metals
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings for fabrication
• Measure, cut, and assemble metal components accurately
• Assist with installations and emergency repairs on boats
• Conduct thorough quality inspections ensuring safety standards
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of marine welding and fabrication experience
• Proficiency in various welding processes and materials
• Red Seal or CWB certifications highly preferred
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
