Light Vehicle Mechanic at BW Gold

Join BW Gold as a Light Vehicle Mechanic at the Blackwater Mine site. This role focuses on maintaining and repairing light vehicles to ensure fleet performance and reliability.

As part of the Maintenance department, you will report to the Supervisor – Maintenance. Key responsibilities include routine repair and upkeep of light trucks, UTVs, and snowmobiles. Your expertise in diagnostic techniques will be crucial for identifying mechanical and hydraulic issues, while embracing new challenges within a team setting promotes overall success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enforce safety standards and procedures rigorously

• Conduct routine maintenance on light vehicles and equipment

• Identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostics

• Collaborate effectively with team members on maintenance tasks

• Uphold hygiene requirements for personal protective equipment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent certification

• Automotive Technician Red Seal Certification required

• Valid driver's license essential

• Experience with Ford Dealers/OEM preferred

• Ability to work in remote area on a 2 weeks on/off rotation
