Journeyman Electrician

This position combines 50% office work and 50% field assignments, involving fire alarm installations, emergency systems, and troubleshooting. You will apply your expertise to deliver high-quality solutions in the fire protection industry while building relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and troubleshoot Mircom fire alarm panels and devices

• Conduct site visits to assess project needs and quote pricing

• Apply for and manage electrical permits with municipalities

• Perform wiring and electrical connections per diagrams

• Maintain safety regulations per BC Electrical and Building Code

Requirements:

• Red Seal Certification and Class B or C Electrical FSR Designation

• Knowledge of the BC Fire Code and engineered drawings

• Valid BC Driver’s License with a clean abstract

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Experience with fire alarm testing and special hazard systems
