Your role will significantly contribute to reliable transit service.
This contract position calls for a technician with a strong background in electronics, ideally with four years of hands-on experience. You will work on vital systems enabling safe operation and communicate effectively within a team. Your tasks will include performing maintenance and documenting compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance on critical rail communication systems
• Diagnose and resolve equipment failures efficiently
• Complete necessary documentation and corrective actions
• Prioritize maintenance based on safety concerns
• Assist in system improvements and new installations
Requirements:
• 2-year technical degree in electronics or similar
• Minimum 4 years of experience in related roles
• Effective communication skills,
• Valid BC Class 5 driver’s license
• Flexibility for varied shifts in a 24/7 environment
