Join the esteemed Richmond Country Club as an Equipment Technician, where your mechanical skills will ensure the top-notch maintenance of our golf course equipment. This full-time, on-site role involves leading maintenance efforts to create exceptional golf conditions for our members.
As a skilled Equipment Technician, you will report to the Golf Course Superintendent and manage the repair, diagnostics, and servicing of all maintenance machinery. Your expertise will be crucial for maintaining an organized work environment while following safety regulations. The role is designed for someone who excels at preventative maintenance, problem-solving, and relationship-building within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead equipment maintenance program and operations
• Oversee diagnostics and repairs of all golf course machinery
• Maintain accurate records and service logs
• Manage shop cleanliness and safety in compliance with regulations
• Train staff on equipment operation and maintenance
Requirements:
• Journeyperson certification or equivalent mechanical experience
• 3–5 years in equipment maintenance
• Knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic systems
• Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills
• Valid BC Driver's License required
