Ground Equipment Mechanic

Maintain and repair ground support equipment for Jazz Aviation LP, working with de-icing trucks, tow tractors, forklifts, and power units. Monday to Friday work is scheduled, with shifts potentially required.

This Ground Support Equipment Mechanic maintains aviation vehicles, engine-driven equipment, and specialized support machinery. The work includes mechanical repairs, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, remote station support, and equipment stock coordination. Safety and clean work practices remain central.

• Maintain vehicles and engine-driven ground support equipment
• Repair tow bars, work stands, lifts, and jacks
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical defects
• Support remote airport station equipment as required
• Maintain stock and communicate with suppliers

• Completed auto or heavy equipment mechanic trade training
• Valid unrestricted Canadian-issued driver's license
• Ability to obtain airport access and vehicle permits
• Strong communication skills and work ethic
• Fluent written and verbal English
