Position: Hallmark Field Merchandiser (part-time) Richmond Hts OH 44143

JOB OVERVIEW

As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills and establish retailer relationships while being the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed. Occasionally you may work with other products from other companies in the stores you service.

  • Your starting hourly pay rate is $13.00 - $15.00 per hour, depending on your skills and experience.
  • We provide paid training delivered through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom training.

  • Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
  • This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
  • Average weekly hours are between 9‑12 hours per week

  • Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
YOUR

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
  • Day‑to‑Day Engagement: Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you will restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. Technology is critical for daily work, communication with your supervisor, time reporting, feedback, and surveys required for merchandising activities. Professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers is vital.
  • Holiday Support: Hallmark’s operations revolve around seasonal demand. Leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, you can expect additional days and extended hours during the week. You may be required to work on the actual holiday, including weekends.
  • Department Resets: At times you may be part of a team responsible for installing fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. You will be notified at least two weeks in advance for remodel assignments, which may include evenings or weekends.
  • One Team Vision: As part of Hallmark’s field organization, you are part of a network of merchandisers who support other team members as needed in their territories.
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and a sense of urgency. You will work on the selling floor and in back stockrooms, repeatedly pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds, and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You must also kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the day, and may be required to climb stairs and step ladders.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    • You are at least 18 years of age.
    • You can read, write, and understand English.
    • You can lift and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
    • You are able to operate a digital hand‑held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
    • You have access to a Wi‑Fi network and the Internet.
    • You have reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.

    Part‑time employees with a work schedule of less than 30 hours have access to a variety of voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum‑essential coverage (preventive care).
