Immediately available. Shifts typically 3–4 hours, Monday to Sunday, or as assigned.

As a Reception Support Volunteer, you will assist with various administrative tasks and ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the reception area. You will help maintain a clean and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and clients.

• Manage daily reception duties, including answering phone inquiries, checking voicemails, receiving mail, and ensuring visitors and volunteers sign in/out.
• Provide general information to callers and visitors.
• Greet and assist guests and family members visiting the long‑term care center with inquiries.
• Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned.

• Must be at least 16 years of age (some roles may prefer adult candidates).
• Strong communication skills in English, Cantonese, or Mandarin.
• Successful completion of Tuberculosis (TB) screening and Vulnerable Sector Screening.
• A genuine interest in helping residents with compassion, understanding, and patience.
• Demonstrated dependability, initiative, flexibility, and reliability.
• Willingness to attend additional training as needed.
• Willingness to undergo a background or police records check.
• Willingness to complete medical forms.
• Fluent in Cantonese or Mandarin.
• Willing to undergo a Tuberculosis (TB) test.

• Available Monday to Sunday for 3–4 hour shifts or as assigned.
• A minimum commitment of 6 months is required.
• Position will be at the Mon Sheong Richmond Hill Long‑Term Care Centre (11199 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill, ON).
