Director, Marketplace

The Director of Online Marketplaces will be responsible for driving our online marketplace strategy, enhancing our presence across various platforms, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of e-commerce trends & operations, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing online marketplaces.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive online marketplace strategy to drive revenue growth and market share.
• Oversee the management and optimization of listings, pricing, and promotions across multiple online marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, eBay, Walmart).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and supply chain, to align marketplace strategies with overall business objectives.
• Analyze marketplace performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Manage relationships with marketplace partners and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
• Lead the marketplace team, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
• Develop and manage the online marketplace budget, including forecasting and reporting.
• Implement best practices for product listings, content optimization, and customer service to enhance the customer experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; post‑graduate and/or MBA preferred
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in e-commerce, with a focus on online / B2B marketplaces.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and market share in a retail environment.
• Strong understanding of online marketplace dynamics, policies, and best practices.
