Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst collects and analyzes internal and external financial information to evaluate the company’s financial position, how financial decisions will impact short- and long-term growth, and make financial recommendations. This role has a strong customer-facing component, serving as a primary point of contact for external client inquiries by managing the billing inbox. Additionally, the Financial Analyst supports other financial functions, including audit request support, invoice processing, and collaborating with the Finance Team to accomplish interdepartmental goals and quotas.

• Analyzing all billing procedures and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Preparing, issuing, and sending invoices.
• Reviewing invoices to ensure billing accuracy.
• Communicating directly with clients and other departments, resolving issues, and providing clarifications.
• Managing the billing inbox, responding promptly, professionally, and accurately to external client inquiries.
• Ensuring clients' billing accounts are set up correctly and according to their requirements.
• Maintaining updated records of accounts receivable.
• Develop financial tools and templates that support decision making in various areas of the company.
• Work with internal audit team to design and develop internal audit procedures relating to contractual billings, revenue recognition, and month end reporting.
• Prepare detailed financial reconciliations and follow-up on the differences with different departments.
• Assist the Finance Team with ad hoc projects.

This position does not have any supervisory responsibility or direct reports.

• A bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field.
• 2+ years of financial analyst experience.
• Excellent proficiency in Excel with ability to query and analyze large amounts of financial data. Familiarity with VBA Macros, SQL, and Tableau is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable communicating directly with external clients.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills – proven ability to professionally interface with functional teams including Operations and IT, as well as third party providers/clients.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.

This role requires sitting or standing at a computer workstation for extended periods of time.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

No travel is required for this position.
