Position: Hybrid Equipment Operator Labourer Role
M. Davis Landscape & Design is seeking a reliable Equipment Operator Labourer for full-time work. This hybrid role merges machinery operation and labour efforts to enhance landscaping services in Ottawa.

Ideal candidates will have 1-3 years of experience with heavy equipment, including backhoes and skid steers. Responsibilities include not only operating machinery but also assisting with general labor tasks and ensuring regulatory compliance. The position prioritizes safety and professionalism at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate various equipment safely as per regulations

• Perform maintenance and pre-use checks on machinery

• Aid the foreman in quality control tasks

• Maintain safety and cleanliness of equipment and work areas

• Engage in general labor duties when equipment isn’t in use

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of relevant equipment operation experience

• Ability to interpret Utility Locates

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

• Must have own transportation for job site access

• Attention to detail and ability to work under time constraints
