Senior Accountant

SGA Dental Partners is hiring a Senior Accountant
. This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity and validity of financial data used to generate financial statements and management reports. This position will provide an opportunity to join a successful, rapidly growing dental services organization that has partnered with a reputable private equity investor in the industry. The Senior Accountant will have opportunities to develop skills in many different areas, including financial reporting, M&A integration, cash and expense management, and dental services operations.

• Play a key role in the company’s month-end close process by posting journal entries, preparing account reconciliations, and producing financial statements and related reporting
• Collaborate with the company’s Finance team to perform monthly variance analysis and support the company’s annual budget process
• Assist with annual financial statement audit and tax preparation processes
• Support the financial/accounting integration of acquired companies
• Develop expertise in company’s accounting system (Sage Intacct) and other key systems
• Identify and drive potential process improvements and efficiencies
• Assist with other critical projects as needed
• All other accounting duties within the position level and authority.
• Assumes and executes additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong analytical skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting roles (corporate accounting preferred)
• Experience with Sage Intacct
• General ledger and month-end close experience
• Experience working in a multi-entity corporate environment

This role is required to office full time at our Corporate Headquarters in Richmond Hill, GA.
