Registered Nurse/ LPN (Full Time) —
Department: Family Practice/ Internal Medicine —
Location: 89 Interchange Drive, Richmond Hill, GA.
Note: This description reflects nursing care in a primary care/clinic setting, including routine office procedures, testing, and assisting physicians as needed.
Qualifications- Experience in primary care
- Able to implement current nursing practice while performing direct and indirect patient care procedures
- Able to administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards
- Educate patient/family about diagnostic procedures, medications, nutrition and maintenance of health and wellness
- Able to conduct pre-visit patient assessments and document patient care observations and activities
- Maintain confidentiality in matters regarding the clinic, its patients and employees
- Observe, record and report patient's condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to physician
- Dispense medication as directed
- Prepares patient chart for the appointment
- Prepares patient for exam/procedure
- Manages boxes in EHR of outstanding tasks, alerts, or pending actions related to patient care timely and accurately
- Processes patient referrals with required follow through
Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing. BSN preferred. Or graduate of a vocational school with LPN degree. Must have primary care experience preferably in a medical office setting.
RequirementsCurrent Georgia RN, LPN or Compact Nursing licensure. Current BLS/CPR Certification.
