Job Description

The Service Technician I is responsible for completing installation, service and maintenance on various commercial HVAC systems. Working seamlessly with an experienced technician, while meeting our customers’ HVAC needs with Integrity.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities
  • Working seamlessly with senior technician.
  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenances for a variety of commercial equipment.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
  • Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems.
  • Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
  • Approaching every opportunity with a learning mindset.
  • Provide high level customer service.
  • Actively participate in NCCER Curriculum.
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Understanding of HVAC components and terminology.
  • Experience with inspection, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment
  • Ability to perform a maintenance independently
  • Experience w/ HVAC systems start-up/commissioning
  • Basic knowledge of entry-level HVAC concepts such as basic electricity, air distribution systems, basic troubleshooting, soldering/brazing, etc
  • High School Diploma or GED/Associate Degree or certification preferred
  • Working knowledge of service tools and testing devices
  • Ability to follow and communicate instructions and directions both verbally and written.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma Required. Technical school preferred.
  • EPA Certified
  • Valid Drivers’ License//
  • Minimum two years of HVAC experience required.
Physical requirements
  • Required to stand, walk, and sit.
  • Talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
  • Use hand (s) and fingers to handle or feel objects or controls.
  • Reach with hand (s) and arm (s).
  • Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Drive.
