Linehaul Coordinator-1

Fed Ex -  - Responsibilities:
Plan transportation needs to maximize capacity and minimize partial trailer loads while ensuring service integrity for assigned areas;
Direct dispatch of transportation equipment in accordance with the Linehaul plan;
Collaborate with field operations to plan contractor and equipment needs for trailer movements;
Coordinate and track processing and movement of Fed Ex trailers, rental equipment, new trailers, and dollies;
Manage locally domiciled Unassigned Team logistics to maximize resources and minimize tractor dwell;
Enter trip details into a Transportation Management System (TMS) to ensure on-time delivery and pickup;
Verify equipment location in dispatch system via yard inventories;
Verify load/unload status of trailers via yard checks;
Timely report missing equipment;
Follow safety initiatives and communicate a safety-conscious culture;
Investigate and report schedule delays, accidents, and equipment failures; implement contingency plans for on-time load delivery;
Review and communicate DOT roadside violations to management;
Coordinate with Safety and Maintenance to monitor monthly tractor inspections and annual certificates per DOT;
Review TLCRs to ensure proper completion;
Perform other duties as assigned
