On behalf of our client, Mak & Fong, we are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their growing team.
This position is ideal for an ambitious public practice Accountant who wants to master their craft with the long-term opportunity to grow into a Management role as the firm expands.

Manage assurance, tax, and accounting engagements for local businesses and professionals. Lead client files, provide technical expertise in Canadian and international standards, supervise junior staff, and deliver hands-on business advice.
Key Duties- Lead audit, review, and compilation assignments
- Prepare and review corporate, personal, and trust tax returns with Can
- Oversee client bookkeeping and financial reporting using Quick Books Online
- Ensure compliance with ASPE, IFRS, ASNFPO, and current tax laws
- Mentor junior accountants and act as main client contact
- Advise on cash flow, budgeting, and practice improvements
- CPA designation (or nearing completion)
- 3+ years public practice experience
- Proficient in Can Tax, Quick Books Online, Case Ware, Excel, Word
- Knowledge of Canadian accounting standards and IFRS
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Comfortable with conversational Cantonese or Mandarin
- Salary range: $85,000 - $95,000/year
