Job Summary
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring the integrity of our accounting data. This role offers an opportunity to work with various accounting software platforms and contribute to the financial health of our organization.
The successful candidate will have a solid background in bookkeeping, accounting processes, and financial reconciliation.
Duties- Manage day‑to‑day bookkeeping activities using accounting software Esi Law.
- Record and categorize financial transactions accurately, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, to ensure data accuracy.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities in financial records.
- Assist with payroll processing and related reporting requirements.
- Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review.
- Support budgeting processes by tracking expenses and revenues against forecasts.
- Maintain organized financial documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with auditors during audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, with an emphasis on trust accounting. Knowledge of Esi Law is a must.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, payroll processing, and financial reporting.
- Experience managing accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Skilled in account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and account analysis.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of budgeting processes is a plus.
- Relevant certifications or education in accounting or finance are preferred but not required.
$25.00–$35.00 per hour
