This internship provides an excellent opportunity to build practical accounting skills and gain exposure to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and month‑end activities. Intern/Co-op Term:
This is 4-month internship/co‑op position. Candidates must be available for the entire duration of the assignment.
- Intern/co‑op within a functional area of MKS that provides students a comprehensive and engaging experience from before your program starts to after the program ends.

- Support process Accounts Payable including invoice entry, coding verification, PO matching, and preparing items for payment
- Support Accounts Receivable by creating customer invoices, recording payments, and assisting with aging reviews
- Reconcile accounts by comparing system balances, identifying variances, and preparing supporting documentation
- Maintain accurate financial records within ERP systems and shared accounting folders
- Assist with month‑end close including data validation, report extraction, and JE support tasks
- Support audit documentation by organizing backup files and retrieving required records
- Contribute to process improvements in AP, AR, and data‑entry workflows
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related major
- Basic understanding of accounting concepts such as AP, AR, debits, and credits
- Good attention to detail when entering numbers or checking documents
- Comfort using Excel for sorting, filtering, and simple formulas
- Willingness to learn ERP or accounting software with training
- Ability to spot mistakes and ask questions when something looks off
- Clear communication skills when working with the accounting team
- Good organization skills for handling paperwork and digital files
- Excellent time management skills and commitment to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills
- Ability handling of discreet, sensitive confidential financial information

Hourly Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour. This rate is a reasonable expectation of pay for this position, based on a range of factors including qualifications, experience, education, training, operational and business needs and other considerations
